Onthe afternoonof January 11, 2020, ZhangYifeiandHan Xuefrom the Resource Evaluation Center of theFirst Geological Exploration Institute of China General Administration of Metallurgical Geology,and Chen Xi,a member of theGeological Division of theFirst Bureau of China Metallurgical Geology, visitedIDP. The project "transformation of crisis mine in an iron ore district ineastern Hebeiprovince" wasadvanced for discussion. Jiang Jiyi,directorofSchoolof Earth Sciences, warmly received the visitors. Bai Xiangdong, director of Geological Teaching and Research Office, and Associate Professor Guan Chengyao attended themeeting.
Jiang Jiyi put forward preliminary ideas on the framework of the project, cooperation ideas and preliminary work preparationat the meeting. The two sides had extensive exchanges and discussions on the specific situation of the mining area, the design ideas of the project, the focus of work, the work content, the entry point of cooperation and the cooperation scheme. Finally, the two sides reached a preliminary intention on the issue of cooperation, and reached a consensus on cooperation in professional training and co-construction of production, teaching and research base.
