On the morning of April19,2018,the signing ceremony of the cooperation framework agreement betweenIDPand Sichuan Seismological Bureau was held inMingdeBuilding. Qi Furong, Secretary of the PartyCommittee ofIDP, Yao Yunsheng, President, Liu Chunping,DeputySecretary of the PartyCommittee, Li Jun,DeputySecretary of the PartyCommittee, and Li Guangjun,DeputyDirector of the Sichuan Seismological Bureau, attended the ceremony. The persons in charge of the Personnel Education Department, Scienceand Technology Department, Personnel Department, Academic Affairs Office, Scientific Research Department, Departmentof Earthquake Science, Departmentof Disaster Prevention Engineeringand Continuing Education Center attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Qi Furong introduced the basic situation ofIDPfrom the aspects of historical evolution, mission, construction and development, school achievements and development strategy. Li Guangjun introduced the background, basic situation and cooperation foundation of Sichuan earthquake prevention and mitigation work, and expressed his gratitude to the teachers and students ofIDPwho have participated in Sichuan earthquake emergency work for many times. Yao Yunsheng hoped that the two sides would carry out in-depth cooperation in personnel training, scientific research and earthquake disaster prevention. Later, Yao Yunsheng and Li Guangjun signed the cooperation framework agreement as representatives of both sides.
After the meeting, Li Guangjun and his party also visited the disaster simulation laboratory, metalworking practice base and SMT laboratory.
